Specialize in Teaching Yoga to Pregnant Women: Support Joyful Pregnancies, Empowered Births, and Confident Postnatal Transitions
Our program teaches yoga in harmony with nature to improve pregnancy, birth and postnatal recovery. Led by experienced and certified teachers, Sue Elkind & Stefanie Castson covers a range of yoga modalities, including prenatal, restorative, infertility, chair, partner, beginning and seniors yoga.
This program will equip you with the expertise to teach safe and effective prenatal yoga classes and other yoga modalities, allowing you to specialize and stand out in the industry.
Live Training: Half of the course, 5 full days hours, takes place live from Wednesday-Sunday, April 10th-14th, 2024 at Sanapurna Ayurveda & Yoga, Militärstrasse 115, 8004 Zürich.
Online Training: The other half of the course is a 37-hour self-paced online course that opens beginning of 2024.
Training Materials: An extensive printed manual, including Sue’s Book “Dig Pregnancy, Birth, & Baby: A Conscious & Empowered Approach to Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga,” is included.
Follow-up: A Q&A takes place online after the training, lasting 3 hours via a follow-up Zoom gathering.
Online Course Only Option: The online version of the training can be taken as a separate course and it qualifies for 37 hours of YACEP accreditation. However, please note that the online version does not include a copy of Sue’s book.
Program Prerequisites: To join the program, you must have finished a 200-hour yoga teacher training or have a similar level of yoga training.
Program Academic Requirements: Students must complete homework assignments, a final exam, and other tasks, including a book report, observation, and practice teaching.
RPYT Certification Requirements: To obtain RPYT certification, you must complete the 85-hour prenatal yoga teacher training program in person, not just the online component, and teach prenatal yoga for at least 30 hours. Additionally, you must have completed a 200-hour teacher training from a Registered Yoga School.
We are accredited by multiple organisations including Yoga Alliance and certified by ISO 29990, eduQua and QualiCert. This ensures a high quality education. We also have permission to teach this course online and in-person.
